Getting involved
Perth Montessori School is a vibrant community minded school.
Parents are required to actively participate in their child’s education and demonstrate a commitment to the Perth Montessori School values and philosophy. As a parent you will find that this has many wonderful advantages not least of which is a real strengthening of community spirit.
In addition to participating directly in your child’s education Perth Montessori strongly encourages parents to participate in the wider school community. There are a multitude of activities that parents can participate in catering for all different types of personalities, from helping behind the scenes by ensuring classroom resources are up to day (everything from making play dough to creating entire new jobs as guided by the class Director) to being involved in planning and executing major events. Below are a few areas in which assistance is needed term to term, but many other opportunities exist, simply contact your school classroom Director or one of the members of the Parents & Friends committee.
